The interactive installations are designed to transport the viewers into understanding perception of losing your “Twinship” inspired by the loss of my twin sister. The dirt represents the cemetery in which the body of my sister lays. Looking down at the mirror and seeing your reflection symbolize the thought of losing half of you. The medicine case represents the medicine she use to take and the pill laying inside the Friday tab represents the day she passed away. The candle glass holder is without light and surrounded by dirt while the other is here “living” with the light on. Lastly, while sitting on the chair at the dinner table there is a vintage mirror in front of you reflecting a dusty and spotty version of you symbolizing your other half aging underground.
